SHIPWRECK VILLAGE
LAYOUT - TEXTURE - LIGHT - RENDER - PAINT - PROJECT - COMP
This is a variation of my final from Narrative Structure class at Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Originally the scene was based off a description from a book called Ship Breaker, then afterwards I added more fantastical elements. I gathered many different assets and layed them out in Maya, and textured the ships and sand in Substance Painter. I then made a matte painting for the background and comped in Nuke. Recent additions include more rust detail in the front of the middle boat and more patterns in the sand.
